We have an immediate contract opportunity available for an intermediate
level Project Manager with a wireless telecom client located in
San Diego. Project Manager will work within clients Data group
which runs the Data Warehouse and interfaces with several applications
including product catalog, billing and financial applications.

Coordination, analysis and updating of project
plans.

Managing requirements gathering & Spec dev
• Working with Development group on questions and issues
– coordinate communication with users.
-
Scheduling of user interfaces for the analyst
and keep these sessions on track
-
Ensuring that documentation takes place and
stays on schedule
-
Following up on action items. Including scheduling
and lead meetings as often as necessary to keep things on track.
Follow up and problem solving are a big part of the job.

2-4 Years PM experience with full understanding
of the SDLC Process.
-
Project Management experience running projects
involving several groups (dev, bus users, marketing, etc) is
desirable.
-
Knowledge of Project Management tools such as
MS Project required.
-
Very strong attention to detail and ability
to follow up.
-
Must follow their projects at a detailed level,
which may require daily conf calls, meetings or follow up.
-
Development experience or PM experience involving
working with Dev groups is very desirable
-
Excellent understanding of risk assessment,
tracking and mitigation.
-
Excellent people skills.
-
Excellent judgment on when and how to escalate
issues.
